Shut down the laptop
Before we start replacing the screen shut down the laptop and disconnect the power cord
Remove bezel
Start removing the plastic bezel gently pull it away by the inner edge. Start on its side then go around the perimeter
and snapping the tabs underneath try not to apply too much force put the bezel aside
Remove four Phillips screws
The next step is to remove four Phillips screws holding the LCD panel in place. Remove two screws at the top and
two screws at the bottom. Place the LCD screen on the keyboard
Disconnect the video cable
Unglue the clear tape securing the video connector. And using both hands gently disconnect the video cable. Discard
the old screen
Connect the new screen
Now we can install the new screen. Place LCD screen on the keyboard and reconnect the video cable. Secure it
with clear tape
Test the screen and replace four Phillips screws
Lift the screen and fit it into the frame. Now we can check if the replacement part is working properly turn the laptop
on and if the startup graphics appear the replacement screen is working properly and we can finish the replacement
Process hold the power button to shut down the laptop. Secure the LCD panel with four Phillips screws
Replace the bezel
Snap the bezel at the bottom and then go around the perimeter. Turn the laptop on and we're done!
